The July edition of 'Provider Update' from Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board (PCB) is now available. The regular update is for all primary care providers across dentistry, pharmacy, general practice and optometry.

Test Results

The results for most blood tests, urine tests, swabs, X-rays, ultrasound scans or other tests requested by Dr Perkins or the Practice Nurse are received electronically.

Most test results are back within 2 days but some need a longer testing period or are sent to different hospitals. When this happens the results can be delayed and may not be received for 2 weeks.

X-ray and ultrasound reports may not be received for approximately 2 weeks.

Please ring reception on 0161 271 3140 after 10:00 and press option 2 for any test result.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
